Dr. Luis Mediero is a professor in Hydraulic Engineering at the ‘ETSI de Caminos, Canales y Puertos’ of ‘Universidad Politécnica de Madrid’. He belongs to the UPM research group on ‘Hydroinformatics and water management’. His main research lines are on statistical hydrology, non-stationarity time series, rainfall-runoff modelling, climate change, dam safety, reservoir management and water resources. Currently, he has 36 papers published and indexed in Web of Science, with 580 cites and an h index equal to 15. In addition, he has around 100 presentations at international and national conferences.
