Project description.
In the area of hydropower, the work of the Research Group for Water, Energy and the Environment (WE2) is mainly focused on hydropower scheduling and control. We have experience in the development and use of
a) optimization models for hydro and hydrothermal power scheduling and bidding, and
b) simulation models for the analysis of the dynamic response of hydropower plants.
